New Year’s Eve is almost here and there are plenty of things to do in downtown St. Louis. Ranging from large, champagne toast events to smaller, kid-friendly noontime events, St. Louis has it all this New Year’s.
NYE Live! New Year’s Eve St. Louis at the Ballpark Village
Boasting the only live ball drop in St. Louis, it’s NYE Live! This New Year’s Eve event has it all, including live entertainment, sportscasting on-site, confetti cannons, and more.
Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven at The Pageant
Okay, you might be thinking Cracker, that band from the 90s, really? Well, their music has progressed well beyond the 90’s. Ten albums later, you’re poised to be entertained for New Year’s Eve. At $40/advanced tickets with live music and located on the Delmar Loop, this is one of the few low-cost NYE events that we found around town.
Board Games, Music & Karaoke
Livery Company is well known for it’s Monday night karaoke. Come out early (before 9 pm) on NYE for board games and chill music. At 9 pm, the ball isn’t ready to drop but karaoke hosted by Drew Cox kicks off for a fun-filled night.
The Magic House
The Magic House is hosting a noontime New Year’s event for all ages. There will be a photo booth, supplies for making noisemakers and rockin’ kids music for a fun dance party.
Mastermind Room Escape
While you’re downtown, why not plan to stop in Mastermind Room Escape for an escape room experience. Don’t forget most of our escape rooms are for all ages as long as parents are in the room too. Plus, we have Christmas escape rooms including Elf Escape and Home Alone.
We’re not open all night but you can book the last room of 2019 for 10 pm on Tuesday or be the first group in the door in 2020 at 11:30 on 1/1/20.
While we focused on things to do in downtown St. Louis, we also have rooms in St. Charles and there is something fun happening this NYE in O'Fallon.

The Black & Gold Ball celebrating O’Fallon this NYE at The Dance Pizazz Ballroom. This event features live music Band Rhythm Of The Nite.
