Christmas 2020 is shaping up to be unlike any other. We're staying positive and meeting the customer demand for private Christmas escape rooms. That's right, our Elf and Home Alone escape rooms are a Christmas tradition and people started asking us about private bookings several weeks ago. For info on how to book a private Christmas escape room for 4 or more people follow the directions on this page. You will need to book 4 or more spots to make it private. It's a terrific way to have fun!
We're encouraging everyone to have fun this season. We know not everyone will want to book an escape room right now. That's okay, we'll be here when you're ready and we have escape room gift cards available as gifts for Christmas 2020 or for later when you're ready to take in an escape room.
We also have been staying tuned into what else is happening for Christmas 2020 in the St. Louis and St. Charles areas. Because we know everyone wants to have fun we've pulled together a few recommendations. Our recommendations focus on fun Christmas 2020 activities for before or after a Mastermind Escape Room because that's what everyone has been asking us about lately.
Fun Christmas 2020 Activities in St. Louis & St. Charles
The 35th Annual Brewery Lights
The Anheuser-Busch Brewery is hosting its annual light celebration. This year it's a drive-by experience. So you can make the short drive from Mastermind and enjoy nearly 1 million Christmas lights.
Union Station
Union Station is home to several holiday events this year. You can take a walking tour of the Polar Express train cars, have breakfast with Santa, or enjoy the lights in the grand hall while having lunch and shopping at the pop-up market. Union Station is a short drive from our locations. We think completing a Christmas escape room and going to Union Station for shopping is a terrific way to celebrate Christmas this year.
Festival of Lights Christmas 2020
Friday and Saturday Nights (including Christmas Eve) from now through December 26 at Kiener Plaza you can see the Festival of Lights. Admission is free daily from 5:00 – 9:00 pm. There are projection shows, plenty of lights and music. The Festival of Lights is a short walk from our downtown STL location so you can play an escape room then enjoy the lights. It sounds like the perfect way to enjoy Christmas to us.
Downtown St. Charles
St. Charles is the perfect place to shop local for all your Christmas presents. There is live caroling in the evenings. All the shops are open and there are great deals to find. Most families that have been playing our escape rooms do a little shopping in St. Charles before or after escaping. Plus, most restaurants have take-out options so instead of cooking, you can grab a bite to eat.
New Year's Eve
When it comes to New Year's Eve, it's a little bit more difficult to plan at this point. There are some fireworks and events plan but they all depend on the weather and ever-changing social-distancing requirements. We recommend checking Eventbrite or the local news to find something suitable for you this NYE.
